For the last few months, Mancherial, Telangana felt like it was on fire. Every afternoon the roads shimmered with heat, trees stood still, and stepping outside even for a few minutes felt exhausting. This year, temperatures touched an unbelievable 48°C. Everyone waited for just one thing—the first rain.
Then finally, it arrived. The cool breeze, dark clouds, the smell of wet soil, and the first drops of rain reminded us why the monsoon is so special in Telangana. The moon hid behind beautiful clouds, children came outside to play, and every home suddenly felt alive again.
